Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
